The Philips IntelliVue MX550 is a powerful patient monitor. It is known to be a modular and flexible monitoring solution that is designed to suit a broad spectrum of needs. One external display that provides an adaptive duplicate-image of the primary display can additionally be connected to a built-in DVI-I port.

User Interface

The color Graphical User Interface of the Philips IntelliVue MX550 has been designed for intuitive and swift operations. It ensures that healthcare providers feel at ease while using the monitor. Smart-Keys with intuitive icons help in monitoring tasks to be performed effectively and fast, directly on the monitor screen. Waves and numerics are color-coded as well to make things convenient for the clinicians. The MX550 is able to display up to six waves simultaneously. Moreover, for 12-lead ECG monitoring it has the capacity to display 12 real-time ECG waves, with a rhythm strip and all ST values.
